Connections with organizations beyond the classroom create memorable learning experiences for students across the Abbotsford School District.
Science World’s On the Road team brought its Science of Sport presentation to eight schools this year, including Sandy Hill Elementary.
Through live demonstrations and student participation, the travelling show explored the science behind movement, forces and athletic performance. The interactive presentations brought classroom concepts to life while encouraging students to stay curious, ask questions and recognize how science connects to their everyday experiences.
